I work with individuals, teams, and organizations to help you as you leverage opportunities for engaging others, whoever your learners are – be they students, clients, or stakeholders.
My strengths are in facilitating individuals and groups to vision and plan for new ways of engaging others in learning. I draw on educational practice, learning theory, adult education, and curriculum design, meeting you at your disciplinary and professional context to find practical, goal-oriented approaches to program design, development, and evaluation.
Ultimately, I work with people to design my consults and workshops around their needs. No two consult projects look alike. However, the following sample offerings illustrate some common forms of work:
Developing a Vision for Engagement
What are your goals for engaging others in learning, professional development, or training? Using a SOAR framework of Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results, I facilitate individuals and teams to focus in on their desired results.
Aligning Practices with Goals
Everyday you work hard to support your students, clients, or employees to learn something important. How can you trust that what you do, achieves those goals? What you do and how you do it has a big impact on what people will learn, remember, and put to practice themselves. I facilitate individuals and teams through a process of aligning your goals for engagement with the why, what, and how of learning.
Instructional Skills Workshop
As a certified Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) Facilitator, I coach people on developing their instructional skills through a program that integrates large group sessions with individualized micro-teaching and feedback.
